Climate Podcasts
Podcasts are a great way to learn more about climate change, and what you can do. There are podcasts available for all levels of knowledge and familiarity with climate change from a scientific and sociological point of view, but here are some of our favourites:
Outrage + Optimism
Outrage + Optimism is a podcast from Global Optimism, and hosted by Christiana Figueres (former Executive Secretary of the UNFCCC), Tom Rivett-Carnac, and Paul Dickinson. With a mix of interviews, analysis, and deep-dives, it’s a fantastic way to keep up with events in the climate field, and to gain energy and motivation when these are lacking.
The Climate Question
The Climate Question from the BBC World Service is a weekly podcast covering some of the big issues around climate change in a highly accessible format. With a mix of discussions around climate-related themes and updates on developments in the climate field, The Climate Question is a great place to start if you’re new to the climate field, and continues to be a rewarding listen even for those familiar with the science.
The Climate Show
The Climate Show is an academic podcast from the Centre for International Law and Governance at the University of Copenhagen, and hosted by Beatriz Martinez Romera, Linnéa Nordlander and Alessandro Monti. The podcast discusses the latest research in international environmental law and politics, and is ideal for anyone wanting to keep up to date with academic developments in climate law.
