Submit your contribution

We always welcome submissions on topics related to legal aspects of climate action. To submit a blog post for consideration or send a preliminary inquiry, contact us at blog@lawyersclimatepledge.org

Contributions may include but are not limited to:

  • highlighting current developments in climate litigation;
  • using the law to accelerate climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts;
  • using the law to protect and enforce the rights of vulnerable communities; and
  • describing how developments related to climate change affect the work of lawyers and other sectors of the legal profession.

Submissions for the blog should be written in English and should and should approximately be 1,000 – 1,500 words long.

We welcome posts from a variety of perspectives and especially encourage submissions from authors of historically underrepresented groups. Recognising the importance of mobilising every sector of the legal profession towards climate action, we encourage submissions from various legal backgrounds (e.g. lawyers, judges, academics, grassroots civil society groups etc.). We also welcome submissions from authors at different stages of their legal careers, from law students and early-career lawyers all the way to experienced lawyers.

For full transparency, please disclose any relevant affiliations, including work done on the particular case or content of your blog post and any relevant governmental, institutional or organisational affiliations.
